Gbenga Omolokun is an accomplished business leader with a decade of experience in executive roles across the financial services, technology, and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Group CEO of Ceviant Finance UK, a technology-first financial services company with investments spanning payments, asset management, and finance, Gbenga oversees a portfolio of businesses both in the UK and Nigeria.
With a background that includes serving as Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank, where he led the bank's digital transformation and strategic expansion, Gbenga has a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving operational excellence. His expertise in business restructuring, corporate governance, and technology deployment has been key to turning around underperforming entities and setting them on the path to profitability, such as Germaine Auto Centre, where he led a successful organizational and debt restructuring. Gbenga is also a Co- Founder of VFD Group Plc where he was an Executive Director and COO for many years prior to taking over its Digital Banking Subsidiary.
Throughout his career, Gbenga has demonstrated his ability to lead diverse teams, drive strategy execution, and foster innovation. He currently holds several board positions in CBN and SEC-regulated companies, and his deep knowledge of finance, operations, and technology has positioned him as a thought leader in the industry.
In addition to his executive roles, Gbenga is passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders, actively engaging with organizations such as the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Fate Foundation and AIESEC, where he contributes to the personal and professional development of young entrepreneurs.
